Billing and payments
Hongxiu Clothing Dropshipping is a dropshipping and order-fulfillment service for Shopify merchants. The Shopify app is free. Hongxiu charges are collected outside of the Shopify Billing API, on the Hongxiu Partner Portal.
Hongxiu has Shopify approval to charge merchants outside of the Shopify Billing API.Nothing is billed through Shopify. The app is free to install, has no subscription fee, and takes no commission on orders. Shopify never charges your store on Hongxiu's behalf.
What you pay for
- Product purchase price — the per-unit price published with each Hongxiu product in the Portal catalog (or the fixed OEM production price agreed for your account).
- Shipping — charged at the rate quoted for the confirmed shipment of each supplier order.
- Reserved stock (optional) — prepaid stock reservations that let you keep inventory ready for your Shopify store. Reserved quantities are not charged again when an order consumes them.
All amounts are in USD. There is no setup fee, no monthly fee and no per-order Hongxiu platform fee.
Two ways to pay
1. Prepaid Portal balance
Add funds to your Hongxiu Partner Portal balance by card, then let that balance cover your confirmed order invoices and stock reservations.
- Deposits are made in USD from the Balance page of the Portal.
- You can deposit a suggested amount or any amount you choose.
- Balance is applied to confirmed product and shipping invoices, oldest outstanding invoice first.
- Automatic payment from balance is a setting, off by default; you can also pay each invoice manually.
- Unused funds stay in your balance for future orders, and cancellations or refunds return funds to it.
2. Direct payment per order
If your balance does not cover an invoice, you pay the outstanding difference directly by card for that order — no deposit required.
- Your available balance is always applied first; only the remainder is charged to your card.
- Payment is made per confirmed invoice, when product cost and shipping are final.
- Stock reservation quotes can be settled from balance, by card, or by a combination of both.
How card payments are handled
Both payment methods use Stripe Checkout. Card details are entered on Stripe and are handled entirely by Stripe — Hongxiu never sees or stores your payment card data. Only the resulting payment record (amount, currency, status, reference) is kept in your Portal account.
How to register and get started
- Open Hongxiu Dropshipping API from the Apps section of your Shopify admin and install it. Installation is free.
- Select Connect Portal in the app. Hongxiu issues a Partner Portal account for your business (accounts are invite-based), and the app hands your store over for verification.
- Sign in to the Portal, verify the store and account shown, and confirm the connection.
- Choose how you want to pay: deposit funds on the Balance page, or pay each confirmed invoice by card when it is issued. You can switch between the two at any time.
